Teaser Trailer For New ‘Peanuts’ Movie Surfaces Online

Charlie Brown and the gang are back and they’ve gotten a serious upgrade!

A teaser trailer for the forthcoming 3D Peanuts movie surfaced online today (March 18) and though it’s just a minute long, it’s got plenty for fans to enjoy, such as Snoopy dancing to the Peanuts theme song, Charlie delivering his signature line and of course, a little glimpse of Woodstock!

Set to open in the fall of 2015, the film will be the latest installation in a series of ever-popular Peanuts movies, though unlike so many of its made-for-TV counterparts, it will debut on the big screen!

According to IMDB.com, the movie is being directed by Steve Martino (Ice Age: Continental Drift, Horton Hears a Who!) and produced by Craig Schulz, son of the late Charles Schulz, who created the Peanuts comic strip. Additionally, Craig’s son Bryan Schulz is credited with the film’s screenplay along with his writing partner, Cornelius Uliano.

“With my father’s work this is three generation of Schulzes on this film,” Craig told USA Today. “Our No. 1 goal was always to be authentic to his work and legacy.”

Peanuts will hit theaters on November 6, 2015 via Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios.
