Thank goodness for texting!

During a recent interview with MTV News, Swedish singer Miriam Bryant explained how she and Zedd (Anton Zaslavski) teamed up for the song “Find You,” which is set to appear on the forthcoming Divergent soundtrack.

Bryant explains that the DJ/producer caught her single “Finders Keepers” on the radio in Germany, and after hearing it, reached out to her to collaborate.

“He sent me like a piano memo, he just recorded it onto his iPhone and he sent it to me like a text message,” Miriam reveals to MTV News. “I just fell in love with the chords and the melodies and I just knew that I wanted to be part of it.”

“At that point, we didn’t know where the song was going,” she continues, “but I just knew that I loved it.”

The 22-year-old singer also explains that Zedd has since become very involved in her career, even helping her to get signed to Interscope Records. The pair is currently working on Bryant’s debut U.S. album in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the “Find You” music video dropped today (March 17) and can be viewed below!
