Is Miley Cyrus Having Trouble Remembering The Lyrics To Her Own Songs?

Last week, Miley Cyrus performed a cover of Fleetwood Mac’sLandslide” during a concert in Oakland, CA, and had to consult her iPhone several times for the lyrics.

Cyrus hadn’t done the song live since her 2011 Gypsy Heart tour, so it’s not exactly strange that she forgot some of the words, but is the singer now having trouble remembering the lyrics to her own songs?

E! News and Radar Online have posted photos of the 21-year-old pop superstar performing on stage in Las Vegas over the weekend with a karaoke-like teleprompter in front of her.

The photos were reportedly taken by a show goer, who told Radar, “I was at Miley’s Vegas concert and took these pictures because I couldn’t believe she needed a teleprompter with lyrics to all of her songs throughout the entire concert. And it’s not like they were just there for nothing — I caught her looking at them more than a few times!”

Perhaps Miley is using the monitor for her new Bangerz tunes, which she hasn’t performed live many times, or for the several covers she’s been incorporating into her shows. Either way, we suppose it’s better to be safe than sorry!

Do you think Miley really can’t remember the lyrics to her own songs? Sound off in the comments section below!
