Lea Michele, 27, has been working on her debut album pretty much since she tragically lost her boyfriend Cory Monteith last July. I would imagine pouring herself into this album has been away for her to find comfort.

Now, Louder is finally done!

According to the Daily Mail, the heart-felt ballad, If You Say So, represents the last words Cory said to Lea before he died of a drug overdose in July 2013. Michele reportedly co-wrote the ballad with Australian singer/songwriter Sia Furler. In the tribute, Lea sings emotionally about the week that followed Cory’s tragic death. Listen down below.

‘It’s been seven whole days without your embrace, I wanna see your face, I’ve got some things to say,’ she sings.
‘It’s just a week ago, you said I love you girl. I said I love you more. And a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so.’

Oh my gosh.. so sad and so real. The track continues:

‘I can’t believe it’s true, I keep looking for you, I check my phone and wait to hear from you, and now I never know if all I’ve been told is just a lie so bold.

‘I thought that we’d grow old. Mirrors in the smoke, left me here to choke.’
