Gwen Stefani Blasted By Fans for Referring to Herself as ‘Chunky’

Gwen Stefani came under fire this week when she posted a seemingly innocent throwback photo of herself with rock legend, Sting.

The pic features Stefani, then 14, getting an autograph from the singer, with a caption that reads “chunky me in 1983.” Several fans and publications have since expressed their distaste for Stefani’s comment, stating that “body-shaming” her teenage self sends the wrong message to her young admirers.
