NYC subway riders see strange happenings daily, but this one may take the cake. When a tall blonde in a sleeveless shirt carried her Chanel bag on to an M train headed for Queens, passengers were probably wondering where her coat was. That is until she started eating her purse.
The guy next to her looks seriously freaked out before he realized she was eating a cleverly disguised cake. The power of fondant! To avoid being rude, the model offered him a bite, and he took a nibble of the bottom corner.
The edible Chanel knock-off was created by pastry chef instructors and students at the International Culinary Center. Apparently making handbag inspired works is a part of the school’s cake design curriculum.
