“Friend” of Ke$ha Takes to Twitter to Give Updates on the Singer
It appears that Ke$ha has reached out to fans for the first time since entering rehab.
Yesterday, a series of posts appeared on the “Timber” singer’s official Twitter, in which someone who identifies themselves as a “friend” of Ke$ha gives updates on her current state:
Then, in a much stranger tweet sent out in the early hours of this morning, the friend added:
While this sounds like something that could fit in with Ke$ha’s sometimes strange sense of humor, chances are the singer’s Twitter could have been hacked, so we’re taking this all with a grain of salt.
Ke$ha announced that she was seeking treatment for an eating disorder two weeks back, and since that time, her mother, Pebe Sebert, has stated that the singer’s producer Dr. Luke and former manager David Sonenberg were to blame for the situation. In a weird twist, Sebert herself entered the same rehab facility as her 26-year-old daughter just days later, citing post-traumatic stress disorder.
Whether or not the recent updates on Ke$ha’s health are true, we’re continuing to wish her the best as she moves forward in her treatment.
