Billy Ray Cyrus Records Hip-Hop Version Of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’

Move over Miley daddy want’s back in the spotlight! I’m not sure what’s more odd. The fact that Billy Ray Cyrus recorded a hip-hop version of his smash hit ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ or the fact that Larry King is the one who broke the news when he Tweeted this.

“Just spoke with @billyraycyrus on the phone – he’s recorded a hip-hop version of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ – he’s excited about it & so am I!” King tweeted.

‘Achy Breaky Heart’ was a HUGE hit for Billy Ray back in 1992, peaking at number three in the UK and four on the US Hot 100. It remains his biggest hit to date. He now focuses more on acting and has passed the singing torch to his daughter Miley.

So what do you think of this? No details on if he worked with anyone on this new hip-hop version. I would love to hear Lil Wayne on this new version. Weezy makes everything work!

Let’s have a Billy Ray Cyrus flashback!
