Teen Kills 4 People While Drunk Driving, Avoids Prison Time Because “He’s Wealthy”

16-year-old Ethan Couch from Keller, Texas was in court to face a 20-year sentence for killing four people in a drunk driving accident. A psychologist for the defense strategy claimed Couch suffers from “affluenza”, a lifestyle where wealth brought privilege and there were no consequences for bad behavior.

Get this… the defense strategy worked landing Couch a 10 year probation with no prison time. Thoughts?
