Gillian’s Guide To Perfect Hair
A bad hair day can almost always ruin my day on some level. Thankfully I’ve acquired a few tips and tricks to ensure that my hair can always be at it’s best. Read below how to turn a bad hair day into a great one!
1. Biotin: I take biotin every day day as part of my beauty routine. Not only is it great if you are attempting to grow your hair out, but it has actually been known to give skin a “tan-like” glow which can really help in the winter!
2. Dry Scalp Shampoo: The winter months can really take a toll on your skin, scalp included. Don’t be afraid to invest in some Head N’ Shoulders! It really works, and after only one or two uses in my experience. I usually buy the kind that has mint or tea tree in it so it leaves me with a great tingly sensation and ZERO embarrassing flakes. Plus, I usually buy the Meijer brand which is super inexpensive.
3. JOSIE MARAN Bohemian Waves Argan Hair Mist: Josie Maran has always been one of my favorite beauty lines because of it’s good-for-you ingredients AND it’s effectiveness. My hair is naturally wavy so this spray work particularly well on me, but I know it will do wonders on multiple hair textures. On days I can’t bare to blow out my hair, this stuff is a total life saver. I let my hair air-dry to about 60%. Then I lightly spray this throughout my hair. Once it’s fully dry, I use a little more, as well as some hair spray for hold. Almost everyone assumes I have used a curling iron when I use this product! That’s how perfect my waves form with it. Plus, it’s full of argan oil which will leave your hair shinier and smoother than it was before you used it.
