Beer Shampoo To The Rescue!
Why beer you ask? Hops and malt are jam packed with protein which works to nourish and strengthen your hair.
This works great for fine locks because the proteins bind to your hair to provide greater volume and thickness.
The alcohol contains B vitamins and sugar, lending a glossy shine to your mane.
HERES HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN!
Step 1: Measure out 1 cup of beer, any kind you prefer. Pour it into a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Boil it for approximately 15 minutes or until it reduces by about half.
Step 2: While the beer is cooking, measure out 1 cup of the shampoo of your choice and pour into a medium bowl.
Step 3: After the beer has reduced by half, remove the pot from heat and let the beer cool completely, about 10-15 minutes.
Step 4: Pour the cooled beer into the bowl holding the shampoo and gently stir until blended. If you desire, funnel the concoction into the bottle of your choice. Wash your hair with the beer shampoo, condition as usual and voila – your thick, strong, shiny hair will thank you.
