Person Tries Breaking Into Kid Rock’s Clarkston Home

A 43-year-old man was arrested in Michigan after trying to break into Kid Rock’s house.

The man was arrested at his home after tips from the public led police to his house. The arrest came after surveillance photos from security cameras on Kid Rock’s property were released. They showed the man ramming a gate and trying to break into the house. He also was on crutches and never got in.

The van that was used to force open the gate was recovered and impounded.

Kid Rock had been offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the man’s arrest and also sent a warning.

A post on his website titled “Don’t Mess With A Mother—-er Like Me,” said:

“Thank God I was not on the property at the time of this attempted break in. I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives. I take the invasion of my personal space very seriously regardless of who you are.”

The man will be in court today.
