Miley Cyrus is letting us know that she’s a party animal and doesn’t care what people think of her in her new song We Can’t Stop. Seems like the perfect song written just for Miley right? I actually thought Miley wrote it, but that’s not the case!

According to Mike Will, the guy who produced the track, We Can’t Stop was originally intended for another major pop star. And that would be Rihanna!! Here’s what Mike said.

“It was kind of crazy ’cause … when I originally worked on ‘We Can’t Stop,’ we had did it for Rihanna,” the producer told MTV News. “The idea was more towards Rihanna. And then Rihanna, she heard ‘Pour It Up,’ and then she got on ‘Pour It Up’ right away. And she didn’t even hear ‘We Can’t Stop.’ So then we finished up the record.”

With that being said thankfully Miley didn’t record Pour It Up!! Rihanna definitely owns that song! Mike Will went on to say that when Miley recorded We Can’t Stop she nailed the record and made it her own.

So what do you think? Can you picture Rihanna singing “We Can’t Stop?” Songs seems a bit mellow for that certified party girl!
