Kanye West And Pusha-T Put ‘Numbers On The Board’ After Jay-Z’s ‘Open Letter’

G.O.O.D Music pals Pusha-T and Kanye West joined Jay-Z in surprise-releasing new music yesterday, delivering a new song, “Numbers on the Board.”

While Kanye doesn’t appear as a feature on the track, he did head up its production. The hip-hop mogul revealed his excitement Thursday (April 11) afternoon on Twitter.

“Our family Hov brought that real hip hip s*** this morning so me and Pusha wanna keep that feeling going,” tweeted Kanye West.

The music is moody and dark, with a nod to Jay-Z’s “Intro: A Million And One Questions/Rhyme No More” from In My Lifetime, Vol. 1. He samples Jay’s lyrics: “Motherf****** can’t rhyme no more/ about crime no more…”
