Michigan Woman Loses Her Teeth And Has Rare Bone Disease From Too Much Tea
Just a head up… You might wanna out down the Ice Tea, a woman in Michigan who drank too much of the tasty beverage has lost all her teeth and been diagnosed with a rare bone disease. The 47-year-old woman drank a pitcher of tea made from 100 tea bags every day for 17-years.
She visited a doctor after developing pain and stiffness in her back, arms, legs and hips. The doctor determined she had skeletal fluorosis which is a rare bone disease caused by consuming too much fluoride.
The disease caused her teeth to become so brittle they had to be removed. She is expected to make a full recovery and has cut down her tea drinking.
