Coop, along with Gillian and Will were asked to Madison Heights this past weekend to be the judges in a chili cook-off to help benefit the Madison High School band! The band is in desperate need for new uniforms, and The Coop Show was in desperate need of eating some good, home-made chili!
The Coop Show came to Madison Heights quite hungry this past weekend. It was perfect, too, because there were 8 chilis in the cook-off. Coop, Gillian and Will, along with Mikey V went around to each contestant in the cook-off, to not only see why they were participating, but to see how they felt their chances were!
“It was awesome to get to meet some local listeners,” Coop said. “That is one of my favorite parts of my job. I love to be at these local, intimate venues were I can go talk to every person here. One of the coolest parts was to see the High School’s principal be there as well.”
Daniel Gilbertson is the principal of the Eagles, and he was there along with other very devoted falculty and devoted parents. Overall, the band boosters thought the event was a success. And the Coop Show is excited to go back next year!
