Joe Kocur Foundation And Former Red Wings Support Family Of Fallen Officer!

Even with the NHL lockout, you can still enjoy watching some Red Wings take the ice.  You can also support the family of fallen West Bloomfield officer, Patrick O’Rourke.  Red Wing great, Joe Kocur, wanted to use his charity to its fullest extent to help the family of Officer O’Rourke, and what other way than to get some old teammates of his to play a charity hockey game!

Buck and Coop spoke with Joe recently about the charity hockey game that will benefit the family of the fallen officer.  Not only are proceeds of the game going to benefit the Patrick O’Rourke Family Trust, but Joe also gave some insight on how you could purchase game worn jerseys at a special auction, that will also benefit the Family Trust!  It happens at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Compuware Arena in Plymouth.
