Our station will be sending letters of sympathy, support, prayers, holiday cards, and just some happy thoughts to the students and teachers of Sandy Hook Elementary on Friday, December 21st. If you would like to include something in our box, feel free to drop it off at the station by Friday at 3pm. Our office hours are 9am – 5pm. If you cannot make it to the station, but wish to include something in our box, you can email your letter/card to us here.

The Sandy Hook School Support Fund, an official fund for victims’ families and the community as a whole, has now been set up by the United Way of Western Connecticut. All donations to this fund will go directly to those affected.
Donate to The Red Cross and/or give blood. The Red Cross provided assistance to first responders and delivered blood to the local hospital where victims were transported. It has also set up a center for emergency grief counseling.
Newtown Memorial Fund has been set up to first to assist families of the victims with funeral expenses, followed by the design and construction of a suitable lasting memorial to the victims, and lastly to establish a scholarship fund.
The Newtown Parent Connection is assisting with support services, workshops and grief counseling.
The Newtown Memorial Fund is taking donations for the families and community affected. They are also looking for volunteers and help of all kinds.
