Birmingham Christmas Tree Causing Controversy Because It’s Fake

Tis the season, to get upset over a fake Christmas tree. The city of Birmingham is raising some eyebrows because they are using a fake tree in their downtown holiday display. The $30,000 tree is replacing an old, worn out live one.

It’s decorated with almost 23,000 multicolor LED lights. Is the Grinch living in downtown Birmingham this year? I get that residents don’t want to change tradition, but the tree is just as pretty as it’s always been. I have a crazy idea… instead of worrying about a Christmas Tree downtown, donate.

There are millions of family’s and children who won’t have presents or food this holiday season and we’re worries about a $30,000 fake tree in downtown Birmingham.
