Eminem Executive Producing Skylar Grey’s Debut Album

Singer-songwriter Skylar Grey’s debut album is going to be executive-produced by Eminem. He just signed on to handle the duties on “Don’t Look Down,” which is set to drop in spring 2013.

Em will also be featured on the first single, “C’mon Let Me Ride.”

The new single and its video drops December 11th. The track is produced by Alex Da Kid, who also worked with Grey on songs like Diddy-Dirty Money’s “Coming Home” and Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor”.

Grey and Eminem worked together on “Love The Way You Lie”, which she co-wrote and earned a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year.

Eminem said:

“When I was working on ‘Recovery’ I was introduced to Skylar by Alex Da Kid and I was blown away with her talent as both a songwriter and vocalist. This album is really going to give her a chance to connect with the fans who probably know her music, but might not know her yet.  I think they will be as impressed as I am.”
