When it comes to the tragedy that occurred in NYC on September 11, 2001, words cannot describe how it still affects us as citizens and as a country as a whole. While there are many people who are still wondering why this all happened, many people pulled themselves up from the boot straps and kept their heads held up high. And a few years later, when the rubble was clear, construction started to rebuild that area of NYC.
Earth Cam really knows how to make someone feel warm and fuzzy inside. Construction of new buildings at Ground Zero started in 2006, and in commemoration, Earth Cam put out a time-lapse video of the construction so far!
Everyone that lived through 9/11 all remembers exactly where they have been. Hopefully this video takes your mind off of the tragedy just a little bit, and helps you keep your head up high by seeing just how far we have come in just a few short years.
