Six Year Old Raises $10,000 to Battle Dad’s Cancer… at a Lemonade Stand?

Cancer is a terrible disease that strips millions of their loved ones, dignity, and even their lives, and leaves survivors straddled down with tons of medical expenses.   So when six year old Drew Cox found out that his dad Randy had been diagnosed with cancer, he decided to take matters into his own hands and try to raise some money to help out with the medical bills.  Last Saturday Drew set up a Lemonade Stand in front of his house and started selling lemonade at 25 cents a cup, with the proceeds going to his father’s treatment.  Word spread about the good cause, and by the end of the day drew had raised over $10,000, including an individual $5000 donation.  WOW!  Shows what can happen when you put your mind to solving a problem instead of complaining about it!
