I don’t know what it is, but over the past few years, I have been on a breakfast cereal kick.  For years I would just eat a banana, or even just an english muffin.  But things like Frosted Flakes and Fruity Pebbles have been calling my name.  And recently, my favorite over the past few months have been Lucky Charms!  And now I found a recipe that I can make it at home!

OK, I may have my wife help me, but that is only because this recipe, while simple, does take some time. CupcakeProject.com has what it takes to get this project done!

First, to make the right shapes, they recommend to buy the Ateco 12 Piece Aspic/Jelly Cutter Set, .5 Inch

Next, you need to actually make homemade corn syrup.  They specifically say that store-bought will not work.  There is something with the homemade kind that crystallizes correctly so the ‘mallows turn our just right.  And this recipe works perfect:homemade corn syrup.
Next, I use their step by step directions over at Brave Tart’s.  As long as you follow the directs closely, they will turn out perfectly!  I currently have to make these like once a week because I always just eat them out of the container!  No milk needed.
