The Wanted Ready U.S. Debut, Get Skrillex Mashup

U.K. boy band The Wanted have one of the hottest songs out right now with, “I’m Glad You Came,” which is currently hanging in at #4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and recently certified platinum. The track also got the Glee treatment in February. The Wanted are on fire in advance of their first U.S. album release, scheduled for April 24, and to promote their new single “Gold Forever.” The song has been out for a year in the U.K. and racked up over 6 million YouTube views, but the guys are hoping it’ll be new to you.

In a coup, dub step remixer No Pets Allowed has created a Skrillex vs. The Wanted mashup, combining Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites (Noisia Remix)” and The Wanted’s “Glad You Came.”

The Wanted are among the more successful of several boy bands coming out of the U.K., but One Direction are hot on their heels. The Wanted will play The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Tuesday, with more television appearances to come closer to the album’s release.
