While Twitter may have been around a few years longer than it has been popular, the amount of people that have joined Twitter the past few years is astonishing. While I enjoy Facebook, I think it takes much more dedication to come up with good Tweets than it does to post a few pictures or updates to Facebook. A new study shows an interesting relationship between Twitter and other adictions!

According to ReadWriteWeb.com, while many people are addicted to smoking and drinking, Twitter has become a bigger vice than either of those! A few experts that were involved in the study say there is one major reason why!
“Desires for media may be comparatively harder to resist because of their high availability and also because it feels like it does not ‘cost much’ to engage in these activities, even though one wants to resist,” Hofmann told the Guardian.
