Last.fm Trends: Odd Future On Tape Again

Rap collective OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) is releasing a new album this year, in tandem with new releases from its multiple side projects. Their OF Tape Vol 2 marks the first major label release for the group, appearing alongside their own TV show.

In the headlines more often for the antics of members than their music, today Last.fm Trends looks at the scrobbles beyond the scandals for OFWGKTA and associates.

In the graph above (click to enlarge) it appears that strength in numbers doesn’t apply to the group: founder Tyler, The Creator has amassed a peak of over 600,000 weekly scrobbles upon the release of Goblin, whilst Frank Ocean has surpassed the collective. We’ll have to see how 2012’s releases affect all their plays.
