Girl works QUICKLY! Just as she had vowed to do last week, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] took time Sunday night to meet with President Obama– urging him to enact laws that make bullying illegal.
[photogallerylink id=8244 align=right]It was really a two-pronged strategy… Prior to attending the president’s $35,800-per-guest fundraiser, Gaga spoke with Obama one-on-one, and then spoke up again during the gala’s Q&A session. According to Perez Hilton:
“First, she thanked Obama for all he has accomplished, and then proceeded to read a letter form a fan concerning the death of Jamey.
After, she made a plea, to Obama and everyone else in the room, urging for the fight against bullying to continue strong, proposing a law be put in place against bullying.
President Obama thanked her for participating while addressing his administration’s anti-bullying campaign and the values of who we are as Americans.”
I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it. Trend it #MakeALawForJamey—
