How did you get to work this morning? If you were really lucky, you got some tone-deaf dude with a Discman standing behind you on the bus, belting out a very bad/hilarious version of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Katy Perry[/lastfm]‘s “California Gurls.”
Fine, fresh, and fierce, he is not. But something tells us that this melodically-challenged gentleman has definitely got it “on lock.”
Yes, you really can’t unhear this. But what this guy stands for really is pure, unfiltered happiness. Yeah, maybe he can’t sing. Maybe if you were on the bus with him and he started singing “Bootylicious” by Destiny’s Child, you would feel a little awkward, even violated.
But how can you hate on a guy for trying to get through his horrible morning commute with a little sunny Candyfornia in his ear buds. Coming from a CD.
How quaint.
