Tyra Banks: “No More ‘Normal Models’ for America’s Next Top Model”

Super model, media maven and professional funny face maker Tyra Banks has made it clear that if you want to be on the next season of America’s Next Top Model you cannot be “normal”. As crazy as it may sound, Banks made the statement at a recent media conference for the CW Network.

“We will never have a normal cycle of America’s Next Top Model ever again,” said Tyra.

What’s ‘normal’ anyways?

As the creator of the show, Tyra felt that for years the show has been filled with too many gimmicks including short, older and transgendered models. So, after 16 seasons, the show will be solely based on picking out the best model in the competition.

If you thought that the new change was because of falling ratings on the show, then you would be sadly mistaken. America’s Next Top Model has gradually gained viewers with every season, partly because everyone thinks that they have the potential to be a model. SMH…

Even if it’s not true, the show continues to have loyal fans that rejoice in watching the judges crown “America’s Next Top Model.”

What do you think of the new change on “America’s Next Top Model”? Will you be watching the new season? Comment NOW!

One of the cycles of ANtM is airing now and i have been watching it from the beginning and i have been anticipating to see who’s the winner, by actually watching the final episode. But that anticipation ran dry by 1 of your commercials infoming girls that the new 1 is casting, well by seeing that commercial it revealed that Ann was the winner! and I was shocked and kinda upset considering there were atleast 3 or 4 more episodes to go.
