Sean Kingston is said to be “walking” and “breathing on his own” in the Miami hospital where he’s been since crashing his jet ski into a bridge on May 29.
A rep told TMZ today,”Sean is breathing on his own and walked for the first time this morning. He continues to be hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. His condition has been upgraded to serious.”
The 21-year-old artist broke his jaw, fractured a wrist and had water in his lungs following the accident, which also sent passenger Cassanda Sanchez to the hospital. Sanchez spent a short time in medical care before being released while Kingston has been transferred from the trauma ward to the intensive care unit at Jackson Memorial.
As previously reported, Kingston was responsive and spoke during his rescue, Coast Guard member Jonathan Rivera told TMZ, but the singer was also vomiting blood during the incident.
