Most artists have an ideal group that they’d like to work with on new music. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Wiz Khalifa[/lastfm] has been a part of many collaborations, but now he’s really challenging himself by aiming to make music with British folk rockers [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mumford & Sons[/lastfm].

Wiz recently told MTV that he loves the band’s music direction and their songs could make the perfect bed for a hip-hop track.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

“They got a really tight song that I wanna rap over, that I would totally rap over if I had the chance to. They’re tight and really musical. I like the instruments they use, like bongos,” the rapper says in the interview.

What’s one thing that the artists have in common? They’ve both had consistent chart success so far this year. Wiz’s “Black and Yellow” hit number one on Billboard’s 200 chart in February, and Mumford & Sons have been in the top ten on various albums charts since 2010.

There’s no confirmation if they have agreed to work together.
