We’ve been getting tons of teaser clips of tracks from Britney Spears‘ upcoming album Femme Fatale. The latest sneak peek comes from Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am who recently collaborated with the Princess of Pop on the song ”Big Fat Bass.” The title of the track pretty much explains it all. Britney and bass make for a jam!
Last week, Will.i.Am revealed he was working with Spears via Twitter. “In the studio with @britneyspears today,” tweeted the singer-producer. “We recorded another song for #femmefatale. That’s 2 bangers.” He has since released a preview of the bass-heavy dance track on his website, Dipdive. Will goes on the explain that the song, which he created on his Mac while on a plane from Japan to LA, is a celebration of bass. If you listen to the track, I’m sure you’ll agree!
This is only the second time Britney has collaborated with another artist on a track. The first time was with the Queen of pop herself, Madonna, on the track “Me Against The Music” from her 2003 release In The Zone. Will.i.Am recognizes how lucky he is to work with the popstar. “Thank you for trusting my instincts. You’re a doll,” says Will. “I look forward on working with you again… it’s an honor because you rarely do collaboration.”
