This is an absolute no-brainer, and an elegant treat to share with your sweetie. Go to your local grocery store. Buy a pint of strawberries and look for chocolate dip nearby. To prepare, wash the strawberries and dry them with paper towel. Line a baking sheet or large plate with waxed paper. Dip the individual strawberries in the chocolate dip and place them on their sides on the waxed paper. Chill in the refrigerator to harden the dip.

These cute sugar cookies are a must for the lazy holiday baker. How the heck did they get the hearts in the middle of the cookies? Who cares?? Just pick up a tube of the premade cookie dough near the eggs/butter section of your grocery store, slice them, and bake. Deeee-lish!

OK, this treat gets a little bit more difficult, but not by much. In the baking aisle of your grocery store, purchase a box of cake mix, festive paper cupcake liners, and a jar of white frosting. Also pick up a box of Valentine candy hearts… you know, the ones with cute sayings on them. Follow the baking directions on the cake mix box, let the cupcakes cool, and frost the tops. If you want to get super fancy, add a couple drops of red food coloring to the frosting to make it pink. Garnish with candy hearts.

Does your sweetie love a chocolate fix? Follow the directions on a box of brownie mix (Betty Crocker brownies pictured at left) from your local grocery store and let them cool as directed. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, carefully cut the brownies and place decoratively on a festive plate. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

Save that heart-shaped cookie cutter that you used on the brownies… and use them to make festive pancakes with hearts in the center. Use a pancake mix such as Aunt Jemima Pancake & Waffle Mix and follow the directions in this online recipe. Serve with syrup and sliced strawberries.
