This weekend, the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards is all about paying attention to the stars.
And what better way to foresee how the GRAMMY-nominated stars weekends will turn out than to consult the original stars–you know those ancient ones searing holes in the night sky?
Throughout history, astrological omens have been used to predict and control many pivotal events, including life-altering moments of war or even, which guy to date.
Let’s see what the cosmos have in store for these GRAMMY-nominated artists and what the universe has in store for them!
Aries (March 20-April 20)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Damon Albarn[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Gorillaz[/lastfm], birthday March 23rd, 1968.
Aries like Damon Albarn hit all the harmonious notes on the scale of success. They are assertive, tenacious, fearless and change-oriented.
Here’s where all those loud personality traits can become crazy this week: if Aries forgets about all the “little” people around them, there will be bound to be a highly publicized epic fallout.
GRAMMY-nominated musicians like Albarn (and the reader too) should remember not to take people for granted, whether giving an acceptance speech or unconsciously taking all the responsibility for positive work collaboration. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have fun.
Take care of the people around you and then hit up tons of GRAMMY after-parties. Show people that you know how to work hard, also play hard.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Dan Auerbach[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Black Keys[/lastfm], birthday May 14th, 1979.
Normally laid-back Taurus’ are in for a hardcore, deadline-heavy week, with musicians like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Dan Auerback[/lastfm] of The Black Keys probably feeling hesitant to change, unstable from lack of grounding (GRAMMY week is crazy busy), and too stubborn to maintain a little bit of harmony with those around him. Taurus, don’t be afraid of letting go a little or reconnecting with those you love.
Your ruler Venus is connected with Pluto this week so it puts you on edge, but you can use that edge to your advantage by letting it destroy the things around you that should have been dismantled a long time ago–like a bad work relationship.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm], birthday June 8th, 1977.
Kanye West is a prototypical Gemini with lots of musical (and personal) ups-and-downs. Luckily for West (and all Gemini’s this week), the universe is giving them the freedom they so desire for creative expression, but also making them ultra-sociable–and this one if especially important for West–tactful.
Hateful relationships are fading away and being replaced with true understanding.
Gemini is also primed for mastery by playing coy and confused–a little bit of passive-aggression can go a long way. Maybe the media will finally back up off West if he plays nice at the GRAMMYs this year?
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Chris Cornell[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Soundgarden[/lastfm], birthday July 20th, 1964.
Maybe Cancer Chris Cornell won’t win this week, but he’ll definitely begin to cleanse the bad mojo out of his life, although it may be painful.
There are a lot of great things happening to Cancer, but they are all emotional. Cancers will finally have to deal with some long-standing emotional issues and financial constraints.
Get rid of any spiritual or psychological crutches you may have developed in childhood and hold fast to the wonderful things around you.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Régine Chassagne[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Arcade Fire[/lastfm], birthday August 18th, 1977.
The stars are in a super lunar phase and Leo’s like Régine Chassagne of Arcade Fire are ruled by the Sun. This is highly frustrating for the unemotional (besides rage and sexual passion) and hyper-action-oriented Leo.
Things are rapidly changing for Chassagne (and all Leos) and they are bound to feel like everything they believed to be true is not. This can be both good or bad, depending on what perspective Leo already had.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Florence Welch[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Florence and the Machine[/lastfm], birthday August 28th, 1986.
Virgo, guess what? All the beauty and talent you see in other people is also in you. You just have to be open to your own magic and possible success. Stop being a martyr and accept that you are amazing.
That light within which you begin to accept will heal tons of emotional wounds and maybe make you a happier person.
According to the stars, there is a high chance that Welch will win; Of course, the ever-modest Welch will probably accept with the utmost humility, but we recommend that she not be afraid of celebrating herself.
This goes out to Virgo readers as well. Enjoy and embrace the wonderful things you are capable of.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruno Mars[/lastfm], birthday October 8th, 1985.
Another possible GRAMMY winner this week might be Libra Bruno Mars. This is a highly inspired week for Libra–both personally and musically.
Mars (and our Libra readers) will find that they are really ( to put it into hippie-speak) connecting with the energy of the universe. Everything is set to fall into place in a masterful way.
Most of Mars’ success will come from retaining his individuality and not being afraid to just open up to every crazy adventure available to him this week. Although, hopefully not one that lands him back in court.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Katy Perry[/lastfm], birthday October 25th, 1984.
Scorpios like Katy Perry have felt like their popularity and momentum is dying.
This isn’t because they world doesn’t have passion for you anymore Scorpio ( a common Scorpio worry), but because you are awakening as something else. Maybe in the case of Perry, she will start to become more natural, less contrived, and subtler in her performances?
Whatever it is for Perry ( and our Scorpio reader), you are becoming a more enlightened, beautiful human being, albeit one that is totally different from what people have come to expect from you.
And you’ll find that people will like you more when they get to know the real you.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z[/lastfm], birthday December 4th, 1969.
This week for Sagittarius is all about “hard work,” although we don’t know anyone in the hip-hop game that has worked harder than Hova.
Well, not the universe is asking Jay-Z to work harder, but not just because it likes to torture the freedom-loving Sagittarius. This week is all about high-risk reward–material or otherwise.
If Jay-Z took a lot of risks with his music this year, he is bound to get a little golden statuette at the end of his rainbow.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Caleb Followill [/lastfm]of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kings of Leon[/lastfm], birthday January 14th, 1982.
Capricorn’s horoscope is perfect for the musical ambivalence that fills the general public about Kings of Leon and subsequently, Capricorn Caleb Followill.
Here’s the thing, Capricorn: You don’t need to get 100% approval to be a successful person.
In the case of Followill and his brothers, this is the week where Capricorn is going to bring home the “rewards” of his talent–even if not everyone else agrees.
Some people will moan when Kings of Leon take a GRAMMY home, but who cares, Capricorn? You don’t have to please everyone and having haters is usually a sign of success.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Marcus Mumford[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mumford and Sons[/lastfm], birthday January 31st, 1987.
This will be a stress free, easygoing week for Aquarian’s like Marcus Mumford from Mumford and Sons–as long as he doesn’t let his emotions get the best of him.
If you cut yourself some slack, Aquarius, and don’t feel like you need to do everything right, you will have one of the most socially dynamic weeks of the year. Focus your attention on the people around you, and not your own insecurities.
Be yourself and people will be totally supportive of all your creative endeavors.
Mumford and Sons are up in the air when it comes to winning, but as long as Mumford networks extra this week, there will be a steady buzz that could garner them many accolades next year.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Bieber[/lastfm], birthday March 1st, 1994.
While Pisces’ like Justin Bieber are normally the sensitive, creative, and moody ones, this week Pisces will be a beacon of logic, structure and reason.
Bieber (and you too, Pisces) are usually so entrenched with emotionalism, that while other signs freak out over the lunar craziness, you are taking it with stride.
In Bieber’s case, he is probably so used to the stress of GRAMMY week that even in his young age, he can handle it with grace. Same with you, Pisces.
Life may get others around you down, so help them cope with your almost-psychic understanding of human nature. Guaranteed adult people will be coming to teenaged Bieber for his calming influence this weekend at the GRAMMYs.
