Marriage Proposal Via Facebook Status

 Marriage Proposal Via Facebook Status

Now this is taking ‘modern technology’ to a whole new level. On December 27th, 2010, a technologically inclined man decided to propose to his girlfriend via an update to his Facebook status from his mobile phone. Apparently, when he and his girlfriend went to visit his mom, she told the story of how her Husband proposed to her and that in order to seek out her blessing for the two to marry, his proposal needed to be better than his own Father’s proposal to his Mother. So, with that said, he updated his Facebook status as follows (or see photo above): “Almost 30 years ago my mom was washing dishes when my dad proposed to her. When Breeze and I went to her to seek her blessing she told me my proposal needed to be better than that. I’m not sure this is, but I hope so. Breeze, will you be my wife?” After 11 “likes” and only 5 minutes, Breeze replied “Facebook? Really! If this means you love me for all the time I would spend on the Internet, Then yes.” And then another 2 “likes” on her response. Not only was the proposal and response both communicated through Facebook, but they both used mobile devices to access the site. Would you propose to your girlfriend via Facebook? Or Ladies, if you were proposed to via Facebook how would you react respond?
