Kanye West has reportedly scrapped his free music offerings on Fridays in protest of the hackers who leaked tracks from his upcoming album onto the Internet.
Kanye had been treating fans to a brand new download via his website every week since August as part of his “G.O.O.D. Fridays” promotion. But according to his recent tweets, he was livid when several of his songs – including “Touch It” with Common, and “Lost In The World,” which features a sample of Bon Iver’s “Woods” – hit the internet without his permission on Wednesday.
In another tweet, he adds, “Due to blogs leaking unfinished songs from my actual album I’ve decided to pass of Good Fridays this week.”
