Twitter’s recent unveiling of it’s new website has not only been trended upon by Twitter themselves on their own social network site, but it has been a long wait for something new and awesome. So what has Twitter done? Twitter has relaunched their site with a new format which seems to follow the two-column style that was recently unveiled in their iPad app. This includes the left side showing the stream and the right side providing all the other content. The biggest addition here is embedded content: depending on the link, it’ll now open in the right column. 16 media providers are on board, including YouTube, Vimeo, Ustream, and all popular picture services like Photobucket, Flikr and Picasa. The search bar and settings has been given placement at the top of the site in its own header. Rollout began earlier this week to select members, but there’s no official word on when every Twitter user will obtain the new experience. With any luck and suit usually seems to follow, it won’t be long. Keep your eyes peeled and if you get the format, let me know what you think!
